I can't get the link in that post to load, but the post says the protesters were hit with microwaves.

If that's true -- and maybe also if it's something else -- antioxidants will almost certainly help mitigate the damage and reduce inflammation and other symptoms.

I would consider taking green tea, curcumin, grapeseed extract, R-Lipoic Acid, NAC, PQQ, SOD (superoxide dismutase), CoEnzyme Q10, vitamins C and E, and more as potential protection against something like a microwave attack or other radiation (ionizing or -- like microwaves otherwise). The "side effects" of these supplements are generally "better overall health" instead of anything harmful, so even if they don't help, they won't likely cause any harm.
