But if they had just made a vaccine that is harmless no one would fight them, I cant help but feel this is a terrible mistake.

But I still have this question, why poison us? That's a terrible strategic malpractice, if the vaccine worked there would be no will to fight them. The pandemic plan would have worked.

So did they screw themselves? I cannot imagine making such a terrible mistake.
