Well, see if this fits: Over forty years ago when I was just 23 years old, I went to have a reading with a renowned psychic medium who was visiting from New Zealand. Her name was Elsie. She was the real deal and I had heard about the readings she had given to others I knew. She was incredible and told them of unexpected marriage proposals, new job opportunities, babies on the way, (she correctly told which gender it was, too). She told one friend her husband was cheating on her and she should divorce him quickly as she was going to meet a better match very soon and he'd wear a uniform, and lots of other specific events that quickly manifested and were proven accurate and true to everyone's astonishment.
I was very anxious to see what she could tell me about myself. Imagine my shock when she said this:
She told me I was here on earth 'visiting' and was enjoying the human experience. She said I was a different 'species' that had been observing humans for a long time and were very curious about them. She said I volunteered to come down and live as one and report back to my friends who could enjoy the experience vicariously. My friends were planning to give 'assistance' to me on earth as the experience would be so difficult, and then she said that when I was a small child and was communicating with my 'friends' an adult scolded me for it and I stopped doing whatever it was.
Ever since, she said that I ceased communicating with my 'other species' friends. She said they were very frustrated because I cut them off and placed a 'veil' over my thoughts and they could no longer communicate with me and I no longer remembered them or my previous self. She told me the only physical commonality I had in my human form that was like my 'other' form was my very blue eyes.
I have tried to meditate and attempt to reestablish my communications with 'my friends' but so far, no luck....!
