I liked it. I took him being called Donnie as a term of endearment. The people so upset with it appear to also be people not at all familiar with NELK or their love of Trump. I don’t think it bothered Trump at all, as he is able to relate to all ages and different people. It’s what makes him so good at explaining things. The irony is Trump would most likely much rather have NELK on air force 1 with him than any of the people getting all upset about it.
