The Hungarian economy is still thriving because while Orban followed some aspects of the mandates, it was business as usual. He also negotiated a good deal for oil and gas with Russia. For someone whose country has been much reduced (in size) and is consequently subject to being overrun, he's doing a lot better than other world leaders. Gung ho with the vaccines however.
