Guess I had a lamenectomy too with my fusion. Was told to never lift anything over 40 lbs again, but often lift heavy objects and I'm still good to go.
Nerve pain is the worst, if you ever have issues in the future with nerve pain, I found DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide) to be a miracle. Not sure I could have made it without DMSO when opiates completely quit working.
