People absolutely don’t want to lose economic standing, but remember that the pansy limp-wristed liberals will still pay three times more for ethically-sourced milk. Plenty of people are willing to lose money in order to feel better about themselves, and that’s even for mere virtue-signaling.

If the kind of proof exists that’s capable of bringing about a Great Awakening, then I don’t think you’ll need to worry about most people directing their anger in the wrong direction.
