I actually made calls to the mayor's office when there were articles reporting they were testing to see if this could be done. Back around 2007 they couldn't find one use for the mosquito, when the conversations were about disrupting the ecosystem by getting rid of the mosquito. Who really knows how they genetically modified the mosquito when it comes to these monsters.
