Do you mean maybe we might not be able to bye all the Sh*t we never needed in the first place?
Do you mean we may not be able to buy our spoiled brat kids a friggin $900 phone, a $300 pair of Tennis Shoes.
Do you mean people might have bigger things to worry about than what pronoun they use, or what gender they might want to be next month.
Do you mean our consumer culture that creates fat cat oligarchs that try to enslave us is at risk, a life where we have everything, and appreciate nothing.
Do you mean we might have to change from working to build up a nest egg and retire to a nursing home where the government steals everything we earned, and kids put there elderly parents in nursing homes because they don't want the burden of taking care of them. (Both my parents died at home, not in a nursing home)
Do you mean this lifestyle where food is so easy to obtain that few earnestly thank God at meal time, where no one has the slightest inkling of hard times that we no longer thank God for the good times, and kids so assume that they will awaken tomorrow that they don't thank God for today.
I'm pretty sure our affluence, our easy times are steering our society toward a cliff, I am not sure what finished means, but I can't imagine hard times putting us on a more perilous path than what we are on now.
