The Thin Red Line.refers to the Battle of Balaclava.

https://military-history.fandom.com/wiki/The_Thin_Red_Line_(Battle_of_Balaclava);

It was memorialized by Rudyard Kipling's poem "Tommy":

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_(Kipling_poem);

It's also a novel based on the writer's experiences at Guadalcanal. The writer took title from a line from Kipling's "Tommy".

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thin_Red_Line_(novel)

It's been made into two separate movies, one from 1964, the other from '98 starting Sean Penn.

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0058648/

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thin_Red_Line_(1998_film) (this one sucks)

It's also a show of support for our Veterans. To let them know they aren't forgotten and are loved and respected for their sacrifices. Which, again refers to the line from "Tommy" calling us all heroes.

I hate to break it to y'all, but the only heroes I've ever met, are no longer with us. I am not a role model. Noe of us are.

However, in my experience, most people don't want us around unless we're needed to defend them. Other than that, most couldn't care less about us and would rather not acknowledge our existence. Hence, the push in the mainstream. People have to be told what to think, what to believe, who to believe in, and how to feel.

When I see this flag, I always wonder if the person sporting it truly feels that way, or is it programming?
