So either the US is offering support with boots on the ground, which the whitehouse is saying we are not, their not following orders and doing this against command's orders or the US is complicit in supporting the nazis and the extremists in Ukraine.

How are we to see it any other way that those facts?

If the whitehouse doesnt back him and admit we have boots on the ground, then he is a solider of fortune, going against the military code and should be delt with accordingly.
