Don't know if he will, but he can always pull the endorsement of Oz while firing those "advisors" for not having "vetted" Oz properly. POTUS can just claim he never knew about Oz's past red flags, but was recently made aware of them. It will be interesting to see who gets the boot from his advisory staff - and what gets disclosed about Oz. Set the trap, play "dumb" and watch the beasts walk right into the trap.
