Maxey has a copy, not the original, so chain of custody would only apply to the actual hard disk from HB's laptop. FBI have the originals so anything Maxey releases is just for public consumption and to put pressure on the FBI to explain why they have not done anything about the crimes described/depicted on the hard drive IN THEIR POSSESSION SINCE DEC. 2019.
