Jesus Christ was cut down from the cross at 3pm on Friday and laid in the tomb that same night. Sunday, the tomb was found empty. I don't see any benefit to extending this period by 3 or 4 days. What you might have picked up on is that there is not consensus on the calendar. The lunar calendar gives us today as Good Friday but the first fruits method (ripeness of barley in Israel, plus new moon and other indicators) could place it some weeks earlier.
