I'm really having trouble understanding why people think that EM buying Twitter will be good (or even neutral) for TS.
The main attraction of TS was to ensure conservatives have a place to get their voices heard without being censored or banned by a company that is prejudiced against them, right?
With Twitter in the hands of EM, wouldn't those issues be solved?
I know that TS has finally cleared a huge backlog of iPhone users trying to get in, but it's still not usable for Android or PC users. I'm on Android, so I have no first hand knowledge of TS, but from what I understand it's pretty much a copy of Twitter.
So with all of the reasons TS was created in the first place being negated by the coming changes on Twitter, what is the reasoning for keeping TS?
I'm not trying to be negative or trash talk TS. I sincerely would like to hear what others are thinking about this so I might be able to understand what I'm missing here.
TIA.
