A person that is incapable of loving a pet is also incapable of being loving towards other people. I have always been suspicious of people that do not have animals in their lives. Our pets add so much to our lives that is impossible to convey this to people devoid of such relationships. I just can't imagine life without our furry friends. The losses are hard - but going through life without the love they give is even harder.
