True that, but there should be an issue relating to pain- An animal is treated cruelly and painfully, and we justly fight for the abuser to receive justice, and as you yourself said:
The abortion debate and the vax debate are two distinctly different arguments, because one involves choices of the self alone, and the other involves choices that also affect another 'person'. (I just put it in quotes because this IS the argument, is whether the pre-birth baby is a "person".
Third term abortions should end, granted. I would go further than that- Even as early as eight weeks, a pre-born Child may feel pain, so this should be considered. State's rights should have plenty of say, but not after the second Trimester.

As far as Planned (un) Parenthood goes, there are plenty of alternatives: https://www.dailysignal.com/2015/08/17/planned-parenthood-loses-government-funding-heres-map-health-clinics-take-place/
Funding PP is a Congressional issue, and in particular the House. Even CNN Reported that, when abortion is singled out as a Planned Parenthood 'service' , a large majority of voters do not want it funded: https://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/11/18/abortion.poll/index.html?_s=PM:POLITICS
I would be inclined to believe that the numbers may even be higher than this, since there has been some activity to win hearts and minds on the pro-life front since this poll was taken.
