And as mentioned by someone in another comment, I'm in support of Gay couples, and any adults of sound mind, having the right to have document to give each other powers of attorney via civil unions. Having to read and hear Gay people referring to being "married" has always been so offensive to me. But I do not want any legal or financial protections those participants have by being "married" to go away, however. Will the marraiges stand, or revert to "civil unions"?
