Stuffing ballot boxes is a old southern tradition, I think we learned it from the Yankees before the civil war. West Virginia comes to mind. (With the aide of the union army, the vote was overwhelming)

Things didn't work out quite like Joe Sr. planned despite his best efforts, had he known he wasn't destin to become the power behind the thrown, I wonder if he still would have bought john the union vote.

Ps. It's a shame Joe jr. died young, a real fighter from day one, and supposedly leaps and bounds in the smarts department from the rest of the clan (if that's even possible to believe, (but then there was rose mary and fat teddy)).
