Woody (born 1947, an heir to J&J fortune, net worth approx. 3.5 billion, correction 5.6 billion according to Bloomberg - https://www.bloomberg.com/billionaires/profiles/woody-johnson/#:~:text=%23%20456%20Woody%20Johnson%20%245.67B ) worked at J&J for a while but 1978, left to start his own firm, "Johnson Company, Inc.” (a private investment firm). Purchased the New York “Jets” football team for $635 million in 2000. Was United States ambassador to the United Kingdom from 2017 to 2021. Wife, Suzanne (former actress). Graduated from Cornell. Worked at Sandler O’Neill and Partners as part of the equities team. On 9/11 she was late to work at office in 2 WTC where she lost 75 colleagues. (She was on the phone with the founding partner, Herman Sandler, when she heard the explosion.) She was the only surviving member of the equities team. Met Woody in 2004, married him in 2009. Is also friends with Melania.
The Johnsons got involved with lupus and diabetes because two of their children have the diseases (one each).
