A few years ago I went in for a teeth cleaning. I shaved before the appointment, perhaps opening up pores and scraping skin on my face. She wore gloves and all the std procedures. 4 days later, my face was taken by Staphylococcus ("staph infection"). Incubation is 4-7 days so it fit exactly. Exam room WAS sanitized EXCEPT for mouse and touchscreen computer [edit: which she touched throughout the cleaning]. Teeth clean, but face was covered with sores and scabs days later. They went later out of business. Too bad - very nice team with nice office. A case of bacteria, not virus I presume.
