I'm guessing "they blew me off" means they were unkind about it. They wanted you to respect THEIR point of view but didn't respect yours. It's possible they never DID treat you with respect; "vax" Nazis are, pretty much by definition, not people who "live and let live".
Whatever the details, I'm sorry for your situation. No, I don't think you're a bad person; I think you grew up on a dysfunctional family. You feel nothing about it because the grief and anger of having family treat you as they did throughout childhood and into adulthood gets repressed, automatically, to preserve real-world function.
Draining some of that repressed feeling off by fully experiencing it (for the first time, actually) could improve your life but it's not an easy process and not everyone needs to do it. Neurosis -- the repression of feeling -- is the default condition of mankind and you can see the symptoms everywhere: unkindness, corruption, drug and alcohol use, addictions of every type (excessive shopping, eating, working, sex with strangers, unprovoked violence, and a thousand other things are used to distract from the pain of too-little love and respect early in life). Some emotional defenses can be positive in the here-and-now -- commitments to exercise, to doing especially well on a meaningful or necessary job, to helping others -- but many are outright harmful.
Reducing neurosis world-wide is a BIG part of the Great Awakening, IMO. We will NEVER have an uncorrupt world of peace, compassion, and brotherhood with societies full of emotionally damaged people.
Read what Jesus has to say about the treatment of children to remind yourself of how important the topic is.
I'm sure the lessons from your own family of origin have helped you avoid at least some of the same mistakes with your wife and children. If not, doing so would be a worthy goal.
