I went to Glamis this winter and saw some kind of bizarre bright white line in the sky at night. The line was a consistent length as it (slowly) transited the sky. At one point, there was a second parallel line, but the second line was fainter and kind of appeared for a bit and disappeared again. My husband thinks it may have been a satellite. It's probably not connected to this incident, but I figured I'd mention it just in case.
Note: I asked my husband about this after I posted the comment. I've edited my comment to match what he remembers.

I went to Glamis this winter and saw some kind of bizarre bright white line in the sky at night. My husband thinks it may have been a rocket launching satellites, but it wasn't traveling fast like a rocket would and the line was a consistent length as it (slowly) transited the sky. It's probably not connected to this incident, but I figured I'd mention it just in case.
