They both started out as a movement to be equal in the eyes of the law, and having that recognized in society.

But then, both movements were taken over by mentally ill radicals who cared not about the original intensions, and continued to push to the point of making their movements harmful to others.

Both of these movements are no longer fighting the good fight from a "we have been wronged" position. Instead, they are pushing their hateful and degenerate agenda on others, who have no interest in their agenda. They have turned a possibly legitimate political debate into a war of hatred.

That cannot last. People will only take so much abuse until they fight back. And when they fight back, the pendulum will swing the other way, and to the opposite extreme.

There will be a counter-movement to put the gays back into the closet and the women back into the kitchen.
