• It will likely be before a weekend, Thursday, but more likely Friday. Certainly in the summer, probably this early August.
• Power well begin to be limited inside the valley, with larger scale reductions to areas outside the local delivery sector.
• It may not be immediate, but will certainly build quickly. Panic exodus from Southern California towards NorCal, but more extensively to Vegas and Western AZ, simply distance limitations.
• The highways on the South side of Vegas and the Cal-Nev-Ari nexus become unusable. Impacting trucking to the entire Western US.
• The exodus begins to affect Vegas and Phoenix now too, as the wary residents fear life in a wasteland. This blocks up all major exits from the Vegas valley, and much of the highway systems of the Southwest, except the trails on federal, prohibited lands.
• The military steps in, on the onset they claim it's to help clear the way for safe transport of goods to get everything back to normal.
• It becomes abundantly clear in very short order that many people are leaving Vegas, LA, SD... but no one knows for sure where they're ending up. Rumors of trains and camps are dismissed are crackpot ideas. While mainstream news discusses the need for temporary settlements to handle the mass exodus from the Southwestern states.
• Military tactics begin to resemble the sweep and clear methods perfected in the middle eastern urban environments. Wide swaths of major cities are cleared out. Federal lands and major highways are patrolled, with lethal force authorized to protect national interests.
• Footage begins to leak out of the camps, and lethal force admissions from the DoD, to keep occupants contained. These are dispelled as necessary to contain the Marberg outbreak that has been appearing in the camps.
• The occupants of the camps are culled en masse with the use of 5g towers. First making them sick with Marberg symptoms, but quickly devolving into something out of 28 Days Later, where those affected by the radiation of 5g, and likely the mRNA gene therapy, begin to mutilate one another.
• Symptoms quickly spread across the entire US, where the 5g grid had been going up quietly over the last 3 years.
• As the Nationwide version of Hotel Rwanda plays out, the rest of the world watches in horror, and all travel is completely restricted.
• It's far too late for that, though, and every country has their 5g infrastructure activated, creating what would seem like a worldwide zombie apocalypse.
• Meanwhile, back in Vegas: the survivors of the collapse are able to hold out long enough for the casino owners to establish rule over what's left.
• Being the only source of fresh water thanks to the subterranean springs, the casinos become their own mini metropolitan subdivisions, each staking claim to what resources they can. The local survivors are torn between falling into servitude to the casinos, or trying life on the outside, in the wastelands. Those that stay work the grow houses, brothels, security, etc.

It will be like something out of Fallout meets Into the Badlands. Dystopian enough to be a nightmare for all survivors, though not so bad that humanity can't find a way to survive... But at what cost.
