No we have the original wheels. Second my husband has modified vehicles over 30+ years. The weight of the jeep is so minimal it will not hurt the suspension.
Two and a half inch Rancho soft ride suspension. Modified Bell crank to bring tie rod geometry back to original spec. Yes there are wheel spacers and wider tires but there is not enough load on the kingpin bearings to cause an issue the Jeep does not weigh that much. Vehicle handles 100% better no roll in the corners added disc brakes on the front handles like a modern vehicle with manual steering. Bear in mind my husband is a mad scientist machinist welder fabricator he has this handled in spades.
