I have no basic problem with industrialists and bankers per se, not until they form monopolies and then want to take over the world, and the political structures don't stop them, and they are not held accountable for the bad loans they make, and free markets are throttled to let them run amuck (so they are no longer free markets).

But you're right. With monarchies come assholes by bloodlines, which usually has money tied to them, with a capitalist system you get assholes by how wealthy they've gotten.
