I hinted at it with Police Enforcement.

Police Enforcement = Legal

Sheriff and his Deputies = Law

Police should not have the authority to arrest, as they have not been elected or granted authority from an elected body. They have undue powers to arrest people, not supported by our Constitution, for offences against Policy and not another person's Unalienable Rights.

Police Officers only have a Constitutional authority to fine people for breaking policies. Every arrest they make without being formally deputized by an elected official (Sheriff) should be open grounds for legal and lawful challenge of powers.
