iron mountain road around Mt. R. encompasses the Presidents on one side and Crazy Horse on the other. Crazy Horse is 17 miles away from Presidents.
The 17 mile Iron Moun Road was also personally walked/planned by patriot Peter Norbeck, Governor of SD
