This is an excellent example of what a very expensive, elite university education buys today. There are many classes with people like this in "teaching" capacities covering not only gender studies but social justice, climate crisis, racism, white privilege, reproductive rights, etc, etc, etc. Parents spend hundreds of thousands making sure their kids are fully indoctrinated by people just like this. Most often they have no clue what their kids are learning. And when they graduate, they have no marketable skills except carrying signs for the left and being crisis actors for the next school shooting.

The lunacy that passes off as academic freedom exist in almost every college and university with very very few exceptions. The left has no longer just infiltrated education but rather ruined it and made it completely worthless. We need to call an end to it all. Stop funding every school with taxpayer dollars. It would be better for society if we repurposed each school into indoor farms where fresh produce is grown for the community.

We need to re-think education from the ground up. Parents and family units, not school boards and administrators should decide what their children need to study, how and when. Students should be presented with a large sampling of topics from which to choose. Ideally, students should be given opportunities that allow them to sample many fields of work, many areas of creativity, critical thought, analysis, Rather than be captive to "required leftist courses" they should be exposed to every instrument in a symphony orchestra, given an introductory flying class, working with builders, architects, mechanics, scientists, farmers, designers, to name a few. The plan would be to give them a lot of things to try to see what resonates best and allow them to explore what they like in more depth. Many schools pretend that happens within their walls, but in reality if parents have the ability to randomly view each class they would be appalled at what they see and hear.

There are a lot of things to do in the world. Instead of telling students what to think, let's ground them in the basics of how to think, how to come to a reasoned conclusion based on logical thinking. The supposed professor Sen. Hawley is speaking with is a con artist, one of many, many con artists populating campuses large and small, public and private. We can't afford to waste the minds of our children with bullshit and spend vast amounts of money on same, when they could be learning substantive things of value. Things that produce the next generation of citizens that can solve problems, earn a living, raise healthy children with sound minds, strong bodies that have empathy and morals.
