Because I had read that awhile back, when the Russia/Ukraine conflict started and the initial news about how the Russians had gone into Chernobyl and that a radioactive cloud would soon be floating across Europe, people were initially freaked out; I remember kind of shrugging and thinking "hey look - comms!"
