Actually, that's not true. There was a whole series of events in May 2018 that essentially exposed Jones simply by what he was doing (he in fact exposed himself).
As Q got more traction in early 2018, Jones began dumping on Q, then making claims he knew Q, then Jones began heavily promoting Jerome Corsi as an insider who knew all about Q and what was going on.
Together, they put forward all sorts of ruses to mislead people. One, was that Jones knew who Q was, and he was talking with Q, another that the guy called ZAK was in fact the 'real Q' aka better than Q and knew more inside info than Q, and then after a short blip when Q wasn't posting, that the real Q had gone and was replaced by a new Q who was a faker and a larp, etc.
As they made more noise and began to draw people away from Q with false decodes and false information, Q dropped a bomb.
He mentions what a patriot is, and the now famous phrase: "be careful who you follow". That phrase later was used by Q several times, but the first time was directly in reference to Jones and Corsi.
[Be careful who you follow] Incorrect message translated [past] autists. Correction made. No names mentioned. They revealed themselves. Fake & False [incorrect] decodes removed/resolved. Fake & False claims of an 'unknown' allowed access to classified sealed indictments removed/resolved. Do not fall victim to con artists.
Q did NOT mention Jones, or Corsi, but there reaction was immediate and quite obvious to anons flowing at the time. Basically, Q had said NOTHING about them, but they reacted big time.

Directly afterwards, Serial Brain II posted his post and Q directly linked it in a Q drop "This is why we are here", indicating that the post is accurate, good info and good work by the anon in question.

This was in May 2018, when the r/GreatAwakening had been chugging along for around 5 months. Then, all of a sudden, out of the blue, Q q'd the board, and a post on the board.
That post dealt with Alex Jones as well as Jerome Corsi, who, to anons who were following Q and also watching these guys, it was clear were attempting to hijack the Q situation, put Corsi up as some sort of decoder, when his decodes were basically crap and were regurgitated content anons were actually putting out.
