He’s an overrated Jewish reductionist. I read the Moral Landscape. His “free will is an illusion argument” goes something like this: “think of a city. Any city. Which one did you think of? Why didn’t you choose X,y,Z? Did you choose (random obscure tiny village in remote area L, M, or N? No! Because you have no idea they existed! Therefore you’re not free to choose things you don’t know about. Therefore you have no free will.”

I’m not making up that analogy. He makes that argument with a straight face.
