i was hopeful but i doubt it.

i was trying to redpill friends & family on inflation 2 years ago but back then they kept saying "that's not true. all prices should be going up at the same time / why is this so expensive!? / why are these portions so small / ... it must be because of XYZ ... but not inflation !"

then few days ago having dinner with them "prices are getting pretty bad. but the problem is population! we need to open up our borders and take in more immigrants who'll do the jobs people here don't want to do!"

literally regurgitating mainstream talking points without a clue to the implications of what they're parroting.

and they know i'm the one who's been following the financial side of things daily, and actually qualified to talk about these things (for what that's worth today). yet nothing i say goes through, or they just parrot so hard they disregard anything that's not their words

i can imagine the same thing happening when V-Deaths become more obvious
