They typically buy into all of that and the other woke leftist bullshit they force you to accept (and eventually get STD's and anal failure, taking pills and wearing diapers for the rest of thier lives) or be excommunicated as a 'fake/bad gay' or you reject it and move back out into the country with the rednecks and just keep a low profile until you meet another like yourself, who can just enjoy time together and help each other build up, keeping the non-sodomistic homo-play behind closed doors and abstaining from the gross shit the city folk are into.
Also be careful buying into all the stats at face value. What is the sample population? Usually they say 'the gays' but usually it is more limited than that, most studies are in the cities, and Fauci/CDC literally just went to the gay bathhouses of the local city (dc) and polled them and extrapolated that to everyone in America. I would argue that the population of DC is not a representative of the population of America, or the world at large.
