As removing toxins and heavy metals was mentioned in the comments, Bentonite Clay is supposed to do that (Montmorillonite) the one from Wyoming in US is supposed to be the purest one with tests done a few years ago on NASA astronauts, but any good quality Bentonite should do it - even Fullers Earth if that is all you got even though that isn't as refined and doesn't dissolve as easily. Well none of it really dissolves just have to keep stirring, but Fullers tend to clump more.).

Also Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth does a similar thing of binding bacteria and toxins and heavy metals from the body and blood, that's why people who are detoxing often take this stuff to slow down any negative symptoms from detoxing. Also good for parasites too (doesn't kill them it merely dehydrates them so they dry out and eventually die. Many people rub it on their animals coats to prevent flea infestation too. (Must be Food Grade though, the other stuff is used in swimming pools and is toxic)

(Needless to say, if taking either you need to drink plenty water else you'll be constipated.)

Interesting to think it may help bind the spike protein or whatever is triggering it to keep producing, if removing toxins is the goal. Go do research on Bentonite and DE and you'll find some interesting info that may help in other ways too.

BTW NAC supposedly binds that protein, or does something to it, re that study with the rats who were dying because of the destruction to their organs from the spike protein - NAC saved their lives but don't recall how it actually worked to do that.

ETA: If you have any mercury fillings in your teeth be careful as I've seen warnings that it can loosen them. I've got a couple in my back teeth and never had any issues but I only took a teaspoon of clay (or DE) for a few weeks a couple years ago. Some people take a tablespoon of the stuff daily so might be an issue then. I'm starting to take DE again, but only a teaspoon daily. )
