I like to use compilations everyday people make. I sent my sister one on fauci showing all the different things he’s told the public and how he continues to change course. Then backed it up with, so it was going to stop covid, then breakthrough, then it could be worse and now long covid.

Had a conversation about IVM with my cousin. Told her I wasn’t reading Fox News but actual studies that had been done. Her husband works ICU med in NY, their experience very different during initial outbreak. So I copied and pasted the 150 studies done and followed up with the Nobel peace prize article.

Responses were well the “science changes” and “look, one of the articles have been retracted”. I tell them that I have zero desire to waste my time trying to convince them but they asked, so if you want to discount 149 studies based on one or find an excuse for being misled, then it tells me your ego is more important than your brain (I say it much nicer and neutral). I will say they usually stop responding and no one is ever mad. At the very least, it makes them think.

End of the day, using their own MSM talking points is hard for them to argue against.

Edit: here’s one example. I try to save ones like this specifically for this reason
