Gnostism, a religion that worships knowledge & its given to its initiates in degrees & in secrecy; whether that is Masonry or Witchcraft. I would also define occult as anti-Christian, pagan idolatry, Nature idolitry & the worship of creation vs. creator. I’d also lump incense burning, Taroh, Freemasonry, Kabbalah in with my general term of “occult”.
