It's funny because I don't think I've ever been called an anti-white slur that has genuinely upset me. All of the terms they come up with are so silly that I can't help but not care.
Words only have the power people give them. If blacks chose not to get bent out of shape over N then people would be less inclined to use it. What's even more interesting if you really think about it is that it isn't even saying "nigga" that upsets them. It's the hard R (which has been the source of a recurring cultural joke). A single consonant can send an entire group into a violent frenzy. That's real power right there.
