Any time I walk into a business (doctor office, restaurant, etc...) and they have the channel turned to CNN on TV... I ask them to please change the channel.

I don't care what we watch, but NOT that garbage. I usually suggest the "Nature Channel" or the "History Channel". Nobody objects to watching nature... so typically they will turn the channel with no problem. :>) Often, they don't turn CNN back on again.

It also works if there is a sports event you'd rather watch. Most bars or restaurants have no problem with you watching the 'game' rather than a crappy news broadcast, so they will happily turn OFF CNN.
