According to this, (and do not do this), as of Jan 1, 2023, someone could issue a direct threat to a commiecrat, intimindate them, kidnap them, then take some drugs and take their life, and get a court date, then leave the country.

I think they are putting this in place for when they lose the state and can do the above to a republican/MAGA leader then say "look, it's not a jailable offense"
