'The gods' were said to have fallen to earth into pieces and needed to be re-membered to regain their proper place. Metaphorically speaking.
Science dissects and nous re-members. One rents, one sows/sews.
Q: How do we fit into this universe and its scheme of things?
A: We are not just observers....we are participants.
Even in the observation of a thing, we affect its optic as being.
aka 'reality'
How much so with participation
A deep well indeed, and again, the lesson of Q as well.
If God is One, and 'That art thou'....then surely WWG1WGA.
note: Two short conversations with the college roommate of the book's author caused his team of theoretical physicists to change the name of 'String Theory' to 'String,Drum, or Magic Theory', later called "M" theory. Being a layman, I was given no credit and wanted none whatsoever because they misunderstood and came to bad conclusions. No, Virginia, there are not 'multiple simultaneously occurring realities".....only potentials that continually arise, collapse, and reform, as motion occurs. M (spirit, termed 'magic') is currently being removed. Funny, because it was the thing that 'allowed' illogical String Theory to float.
Anyway, i brought up Frijof Capfra and the team head said he was his roommate at university and ......"...an odd bird...that one.."
I told him he should have reverence towards his memory because he will be held as pre-eminently correct in the future.
They fib as to its inception to save their rep......surprise....LOL.
My actual quote was "I could see how you might call it String, Drum or Magic theory, depending on your perspective."
That perspective being That which hears (the senses (eardrum)), that which is heard (string), and that which brings them together (termed 'magic' but meant as spirit). As scientists, it be-hooved them to dissect it into its parts rather than to conjoin them in Harmony. My demonstration was done using Pythagorus and his Unicord, one string, fretted at mathmatical intervals showing how 'the ear agrees' with the numbers. Left and right in harmony imagine that.
Speaking of harmony....might I be so bold as to offer a second Twin Tower of knowledge that comes with a guaranteed wow factor of eleven?
voila
Bon voyage mon fren
