I believe “aliens” of the past that demanded human sacrifices around the Ancient Pagan world, were in fact the Fallen angels. Checkout Aliester Crowley’s depiction of “Lam” he conjured back in the early 20th century; he drew the entity & it resembles a “grey” Alien decades before people even understood the concept of extraterrestrials.
