I understand that I am out on limb with this thought...but with Revelations stating...144,000 "choosen"...the entire piece is filled the combination of a ancient man trying to explain the modern day as revealed to him by God...but with key points that resonate today, and confirmation of writtings of the old testament prophet's.

John wasn't aware of DNA but he was told the number was significant and so included as well as the number of the Beast.

I do think the two points are related now.

But I am not looking for anyones belief, just stating what I currently think.
