The last question my father asked whilst on his death bed, on Thursday October 13th 2016, around 13:00, was « who got the Nobel Litteracy Prize? ».

My Mum could not say, she had obviously been to busy to catch the news.

She then told me « Good that I couldn’t answer: it would have killed him. ».

My Dad was a really prolific writer (2’000 books, mostly in Croatian) and he would disapprove of Bob Dylan earning such a huge distinction for some pop songs.

Mum did not mean this as a joke, but we ended laughing and crying at the same time.
