The Sheriff is an Independent and flat out refused back in 2020/21 to use his officers to enforce "covid masking" in our Democrat-ridden county. Haven't heard back from the retiree - but I will touch bases with him today.

FWIW, I think the photo of a masked guy wearing tactical gear is dumb. All of us have agreed not to be armed or look threatening while we watch. None of us are into the mask b.s.. This guy looks suspicious or dumb. Media Whores are already using it to make Patriots look like they are intimidating voters. Possibly a Fed Bois photo-op for the MSM.
