I was watching this broadcast last night, taking a break from things Q as it were...

during which the host, who goes by the moniker Garand Thumb, demonstrates (under the direction of the guest, one of the developers, Alex(ander) Lewis), the functionality and capability of the Vortex XM-157 Next Generation Fire Control Squad Optic (XM-157), accepted by the U.S. Army to pair with (among other options) the new XM5 Next Generation Squad Weapon (XM5-NGSW).
This was posted on 23 October 2022, it is now 1400 ET on 25 October 2022 and the link has 969,289 views. As interesting as the video is, the 6,543 comments are as and in some ways, more interesting than the video. Garand Thumb's youtube channel alone has 2.46 million subscribers.
But, as they say, that is neither here not there.
It is the custom of the host, Garand Thumb, at the end of the video filming, to invite the guest of the show, to share what he calls "Dad Advice" with the viewers.
