My grandma, who is a retired nurse and even told me herself that covid test aren't accurate, but nagged my dad to take a test when he was sick (he was 100% sure he had covid, so he thought there was no point taking a test anyways). Both my grandma's and aunt's response was to "be sure if you have it or not" and I responded "and then what, does he get a special medication for it?", "I don't know, but at least you'll know you have it or not" 😮💨
Test was negative. Turns out he didn't have covid, never did. He had a blood AND lung infection.
