I wouldn't really care one way or the other (stay on standard time or daily saving - it's just dumb we change it (and change the dates). Brighter evenings are great, brighter mornings good too. Maybe if we keep shrinking the time period for standard time (it used to be weeks longer in both ends), eventually we can get rid of it.

Personally I think the whole world should just work off of UTC. If I go to my "day job" at 1pm UTC, you always know when to call me. Whether I'm in Commiefornia at 6am local, Idaho Nuclear storage at 7am, or working a swing shift in Eastern Europe, I'm arriving to work at the 1pm UTC.
