Oregon numbers are all sorts of messed up.
As is currently reported, the 6 Republican House candidates combined for roughly 750,000 votes. The Republican Governor candidate (Drazan) has roughly 750,000 votes. The combined 6 Democrat House candidates combined for roughly 900,000 votes. The Democrat Governor candidate (Kotek) has roughly 815,000 votes. The Independent Governor candidate (Johnson) has roughly 150,000 votes. And two other candidates have a combined 11,000.
So combined House races total roughly 1,650,000 votes. Yet the the combined votes for Governor total 1,725,000. So 75,000 Oregonians only voted for Governor and not for their House race? 75,000... Coincidentally, the current alleged difference between the Republican and Democrat candidates is 65,000.
Math... we have a problem.
Edit: with 3rd party House candidates added, I'm calculating 1,689,974 total House votes, compared to 1,729,387 Governor votes. Difference is 39,413. Nearly 40,000 Oregonians voted only for Governor, and those votes were either for Kotek or Johnson. My gut feeling is that these are 40,000 completely fake votes given to Kotek to offset 40,000 Democrat voters in House who went to Johnson for Governor.
